PARK AGRO INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION – URBANISATION OF BERNEX – CONFIGNON

Situated at the crossroads of social, ecological, productive and landscape flux, the new agro-urban park, is limited by the CHANCY ROAD at the southern entrance (arrival point of public transport), and the GREEN ROUTE (with direct links to Geneva) at the northern entrance. The principle movements of the park are arranged in the form of rings that house the ISLANDS OF AGRICULTURE in their centers, forming a gently undulating landscape structure. These AGRICULTURAL ISLANDS have their own AXIS OF SERVICE, allowing access to each piece of culture (of variable organization), conceived as an element in constant evolution in the whole territory. Here fences are not necessary; instead, careful manipulation of the topography indicates limits, as well as inviting us to take advantage of its slope.
