La Pineda in l’Estartit is a link between the urban fabric and the wetlands of the Ter Vell, between the city and nature. It has a weak use and is not articulated with the promenade. The project proposes:
• Continuing the promenade inside the pine forest to revalue it;
• Construction of a new central equipment area; library - toy library, bar and services;
• The construction of a system of transversal paths that enhance the views of the Sea and the Medes Islands between the pines;
• Restart planting of the pine forest in less populated areas;
• The recovery of the dune ecosystem
