GREEN CORRIDOR FROM THE CENTER, DIRECTION OF CERDANYOLA DEL VALLÈS

The objective of the corridor is to improve habitat and restore connectivity by building a functional, ecological and social space between the Collserola Natural Park and the Plaine de Vallès. It is the most important work of its kind in Spain. The agroforestry mosaic has two components: central cereal crops and two lateral rivers that form the main axes of ecological functionality. The project includes the construction of a wildlife passage over the AP-7 motorway that signals the beginning of work to restore ecological permeability between natural systems.
